The Nomad Inshore Spin 20-30lb rod and the Nomad Offshore Spin PE1.5-3 / 20-40lb rod () are ideal for fishing the Vertrex Max 110. These rods are designed specifically to work vibes and they feature a slightly slower taper rod and a tip with more backbone to impart more action to the vibe with each lift of the rod. Traditional soft tipped inshore spin rods are not ideal for working vibes.
