This paddle is was exactly what we needed. We ordered a Carlisle originally, but the length we normally use did not fit the width of our new kayaks. Gave that one to my son. The adjustable length of this paddle made it perfect. No more banging knuckles on the sides of our kayaks or tossing water in them due to the blades being too close to the cockpit opening. Lightweight and durable.Great customer service too. I called to ask a question about purchasing a second paddle and when they found out I was a disabled vet, they recommended I call their sister company for a similar paddle (A percentage of the cost of the paddle goes to a specific Veteran's program). The paddle's currently in my Jeep with the others. We are away in Maine for a week of kayaking and other family fun. The paddles are definitely proving themselves!great paddle, no one else makes a 240- 260 cm adjustable paddle ....that I know of . if you have a 2 position seat this is a must have .light and very ridged. mine takes a beating in the log filled Grand river in Ohio .......love it ..YAK ON.....Strong enough to pull through mud and sand, and push off sharp rocks without flex or breaking. The wrapped graphite on the center of the shaft will make your hands raw after hours of paddling though.Used twice, broke the shaft on my second trip out. Literally cracked after one stroke. Truly amazing! I have never broken a paddle before and am shocked at how poor the quality is. For 150 I expect a paddle that can be used to... well, I don’t know, paddle maybe?NiceI purchased my first when it was called the Accent Ultimate Angler Paddle. I purchased my next last year after they changed name to Canon. I use 245cm up to 260cm depending on seat height and width of items on my Vibe SG130. Strong paddle. I've pushed off rocks, trees and docks. I have another, cheaper paddle I keep as an extra and, let me tell you, I can feel the difference very quickly. With 1,000 strokes per mile, a light paddle really makes a difference. Bottom line, I like this paddle. Strong and light. There are other paddles out there with more famous brands that have similar weight, but it appears they charge for their name on the paddle.
